The globalists have infiltrated our education system and our universities to such an extent that even economics textbooks and trade textbooks are pushing globalism and like the health THING over the past two years, if you argue against it, you are an idiot. It id a very scary precedent to believe that there is such a thing as an expert opinion, which is THE expert opinion and there is no counter argument, or that those who argue against are just crack pots.
Regardless of whether you believe globalism has a net positive outcome, it is a complete falsehood to say that “everybody wins.” Of course, it has a downside. Everything has a downside. But you calculate whether there is a net win or gain before taking a decision. The globalists are condition to say things like “everyone wins” or “everyone is better off” when clearly, this is not. Globalism encompasses migration of labor across borders, which means domestic workers will lose their jobs. Increased income equality across nations means that salaries in developed countries will decrease. Those who lose their jobs or see their salaries decrease could definitely identify a downside to globalism.
